So when I looked at it, the reason why RDP wasn't working was that we changed the port number on that server and I had told the firewall to redirect it back to the original port. Oops.
The latest one, which took three days and several network outages, as to get the network composer in place. This handy box which costs WAY more then my car tracks EVERYTHING that goes out or comes into my network from the internet. It does content filtering, virus scanning, and my favorite... Packet shaping.
"Sure, you can stream video... but you'll never get more then 2MB of my 10MB pipe!"
The 10MB pipe is getting installed in July I believe.
But regardless, every time i cut over to this thing, my load balanced would crash. What the hell?!?!? To make a long story short, I ended up creating a VLAN, putting the firewall and the composer on it, and then everything worked. Getting from point A to point B was kind of rough though as I forgot to change the routing when I changed the firewall IP so I had to connect a computer via cross over cable and... Well... You get the idea. It should be fine now and I was looking forward to stress testing it.
Snow day...
Damn.
